Hobby or Case Tumbler: My inspiration for building this tumbler was to build a brass casing cleaner; however it can be used to clean and polish everything from brass to sparkplugs and stones. I built it out of easy to get materials and parts that satisfy the three Rrsquo.
Use an air compressor to blow out the insides of the cases and dry the outside of the brass 2530 minutes. Use a clothes dryer that has one of those removable racks used to dry shoes or sweaters. Spread a sheet of muslin fabric on the rack, (it has a lip, so the brass won't roll off), put a layer of brass on the cloth, and run the dryer on "high" for an hour.
· Next I added some plastic media that was with the Rock Tumbler kit, dividing it into three parts, bottom, put 1/2 the brass in, added more media and powder polish, then the rest of the brass.
